I am drawn to the slow, methodical aspects of handmade art. Most of my time is spent enjoying what most would consider ‘old lady’ activities including needlepoint, knitting, mosaics, and traditional letterpress printing. I love mixing these practices with my formal education in digital media and design, seeing how I can intertwine the skills and techniques; creating art that is new while still retaining that handmade feel.
